How Do I Become an Electrician in Houston?
You have two main options to become an electrician in Houston.
You can start by graduating from a trade school or skip trade school and go directly into an apprenticeship. While starting an apprenticeship may sound like the quicker option, a trade school offers a complete curriculum and allows you to make mistakes as you learn the trade.

As an apprentice, you may be stuck only working on one electrical system, but enrolling in a trade school offers a complete training program in both residential and commercial electrical systems.
In Houston, you have many opportunities to train to become an electrician, and one of the best ways is by attending Tulsa Welding School. What Does an Electrician Do?

- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.

- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
- Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code.
