In conjunction with the Solid Waste, Stormwater, and Wastewater departments, Florida Department of Transportation, and many private sector infrastructure providers, The City of Tampa may be looking for highly trained welders to support projects to upgrade infrastructure and utilities in the community.

Tampa M.O.V.E.S. Citywide Mobility Plan sets out a roadmap to identify new transportation projects over the next 25 years3. Welders will be needed to focus on safety, promoting sustainability and resilience, and addressing the different modes of transportation. This plan will focus on creating premium transit corridors along major hubs within the Tampa from Westshore to Downtown, and Downtown to University Area/Innovative District. The City of Tampa will also implement the most significant water and wastewater infrastructure plan to date, and to do this, they will need highly trained welders to support the Transportation Advisory Team.
