TWS is a Great Training Option for Everyone

Jacksonville, FL – January 20, 2012 – TWS Jacksonville (TWS) will be hosting their annual welding competition Saturday, Feb. 25.
Participants will be coming from at least eight states to compete for the grand prize of a full tuition scholarship to TWS Jacksonville. Several partial tuition scholarships and prizes will be awarded to top runner-ups, as well as a $500 scholarship for every participant. Contestants will be judged by members of the American Welding Society (AWS) and winners will be announced that day.
During the event, attendees and their families will be able to tour the TWS Jacksonville campus, speak to admissions counselors and attend demonstrations by TWS Jacksonville faculty and welding industry experts. A number of sponsors and vendors will also be on hand including Lincoln Electric, Airgas, Harris Torches, and DeWalt, for students to speak with and try welding and safety equipment, as well as employers to speak with about opportunities in the industry.
Additional sponsor-provided door prizes will also be given away.

Several hundred people including instructors, vendors, participants and their families are expected to be in attendance.
