What Programs Does TWS Offer at the Jacksonville, FL Campus?

TWS offers many trade programs to students in Florida and qualified students who want to attend TWS but live out of state. The programs offered at the Jacksonville, FL campus include:

Professional Welder

A 7-month program that focuses on the fundamentals of welding and prepares you with the practical welding skills to start working as an entry-level welder upon graduation. During this program, you are trained in structural, flux core, and pipe welding.

Welding Specialist with Pipefitting

A 9 ½ month welding program that offers complete welder and pipefitter training. During this program, you will learn about structural welding, basic and advanced pipefitting, thin alloy welding, and steamfitting.

Refrigeration Technologies

This 7-month HVAC/R program teaches you the fundamentals of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration. With hands-on training, you will be prepared to start an entry-level position in refrigeration service and maintenance upon graduation.

Electro-Mechanical Technologies

A 9-month trade program that focuses on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and solar. You will also learn the fundamentals of electricity, and residential and commercial wiring.

Electrician Training

This 7-month program prepares you to become an entry-level electrician and offers hands-on experience maintaining and servicing residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems and equipment.

Electrical Lineworker

This 15-week program teaches you how to install, maintain, and repair electrical power lines. By the end of the program, you will be ready to work as an electrical lineworker and hold eight valuable certifications.

If you live outside of Jacksonville, you can still attend TWS and prepare for a lifelong career as a trade professional. Plus, as out-of-state students, we can assist you with the following:

Short-Term Programs – did you know that we offer an electrical lineworker program that can be completed in as little as 3 months?
