Filling a critical need for skilled welders in Texas, Tulsa Welding School (TWS) is opening a new campus in the Houston area and is now accepting applications for classes which begin December 8th. The Houston campus is the first TWS campus in Texas and the third nationwide to offer prospective students training in welding programs.

Tulsa Welding School & Technology Center (TWSTC) continues the long standing tradition of TWS to train welders through hands-on application and experienced instructional faculty.

Tulsa Welding School & Technology Center (TWSTC) is located at 243A Greens Rd., which is situated just East of I-45 and just North of Beltway 8/Sam Houston Parkway in the Greenspoint area, approximately 14 miles north of the Houston city center. This campus contains a training facility of approximately 66,000 square feet which includes 60 welding lab booths, new equipment, a pipefitting lab, three classrooms, student commons, and various student support services office areas.
TWSTC will offer 2 programs; Welding Specialist and Welding Specialist with Pipefitting. These programs provide students with all of the skills necessary for entry level into structural and pipe welding careers with the option of adding on additional pipefitting training for more diverse opportunities. The campus will have many services for students and financial aid is available for those who qualify.
Tulsa Welding School (TWS) has additional locations in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Jacksonville, Florida. TWS in Tulsa, Oklahoma has trained individuals for professional, entry-level careers since January 1949. Training programs have been designed to meet employers’ needs by providing students with the technical competencies as required and are based on industry feedback. Instructors are industry experienced professionals who instruct their students in the techniques and skills needed by employers.
