Tulsa Welding School now has two Texas locations, one in Houston and one conveniently located in the heart of the DFW Metroplex, Tulsa Welding School’s newest campus in Irving, TX.
Students enrolled at TWS can receive training in the following Dallas trade school programs:

This is our fourth TWS campus nationwide, and second Texas campus (Houston being the other). TWS – Dallas Metro campus is located on the East side of Hwy 183 just before Loop 12 (Exit Carl Rd and go over the overpass) — with the DFW Airport and Downtown Dallas area within 15 minutes of the campus.

Professional Welder
Program Duration: 7 monthsProfessional Welders are found everywhere – automotive, aerospace and aviation industries; bridges and bikes; shipyards, shops and skyscrapers – wherever metal needs adhering, a welder is needed. By being trained as a skilled professional welder, you’ll have career opportunities nationwide, and even worldwide. That means almost anywhere you want to go, welding can take you there.

Program Duration: 7 monthsWhen it comes to refrigeration technologies training schools, TWS in Tulsa, OK, Jacksonville, FL, Houston, TX & Dallas Metro (Irving, TX) have a track record for preparing students for a rewarding career as a Refrigeration Technician. Our 7-month curriculum puts a heavy focus on hands-on training while teaching the fundamentals of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, climate control and refrigeration technologies.

Program Duration: 7 monthsThe Electrical Technologies program prepares students for entry-level job opportunities as an electrician. In as few as 7 months of hands-on training at Tulsa Welding School, you could be trained in the skills you need to maintain and service residential, commercial, and industrial electrical equipment.
Students will learn the fundamentals of electricity and solar power, residential and commercial wiring applications, low voltage usage with audio/video and security systems and programming, in-depth applications of motors, lighting, and the devices that control them (including PLCs) as well as exposure to various types of transformers.

Welcome to Tulsa Welding School (TWS)!
Our Dallas campus is proud to be a part of a tradition of excellence, celebrating 75 years of training skilled trades professionals. Since opening our doors in 1949 to our first campus in Tulsa, Oklahoma , TWS has been dedicated to empowering individuals with the education and training they need to secure in-demand careers and create brighter futures for themselves and their families. With programs in HVAC/Refrigeration (residential and commercial), Welding, Electrical and Electrical Lineworker, all of which can be completed in under a year—some in as few as 6 or 7 months—we are committed to helping our students launch rewarding careers in the skilled trades.
At TWS, we don’t just teach technical skills; we’re deeply invested in the success of our students and our community. Our graduates are meeting the increasing demand** for skilled trades professionals, not just in Texas but across all 50 states nationwide(iii). We proudly collaborate with many organizations, associations and employers that provide on-campus resources, supplies and career opportunities. Additionally, we are honored to work alongside Indigenous populations and other underserved communities to ensure access to quality education and training that empowers individuals to become self-sustaining members of society.
