For nearly 75 years, Tulsa Welding School (TWS) has been a respected trade school offering training program in the professional skilled trades. TWS offers training in welding, HVAC/Refrigeration, Industrial Maintenance and Electrical programs.
Our programs are designed to match employers’ needs and are taught by knowledgeable professionals with real-world experience. In as few as seven months, you can transition from military to civilian life with a professional career!
Military Scholarships

Military Scholarships
This scholarship program is designed to provide tuition assistance to eligible students whose parent(s) are active duty military, including reserves and National Guard members, military veterans and/or military retirees. Recipients will be selected without regard to race, sex, color, creed, religious preference, age, national origin or disability.

Professional Welder
Duration: 7 Months

Professional Welders are found everywhere – automotive, aerospace and aviation industries; bridges and bikes; shipyards, shops and skyscrapers – wherever metal needs adhering, a welder is needed. By being trained as a skilled professional welder, you’ll have career opportunities nationwide, and even worldwide. That means almost anywhere you want to go, welding can take you there.

- Training for structural, fluxcore, and pipe welding.
Welding Specialist with Pipefitting
Duration: 9.5 Months

The Welding Specialist with Pipefitting program prepares a graduate for entry level positions in structural, pipe and pipeline, and thin alloy welding, as well as for entry-level positions in pipefitting and steam fitting. In addition to the key welding processes learned in the Welding Specialist program, students also learn basic and advanced pipefitting skills.

Associate of Occupational Studies in Welding Technology
Duration: 14 Months

This training program provides each student with a broad range of knowledge in electrical and mechanical technologies, along with heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration. Career opportunities in this field are wide and growing. An added value to the program is the solar energy technology module, which includes an overview of the Photovoltaic (PV) Science with principles and application processes used in many solar powered systems.

Electrical Technologies
Duration: 7 Months

The Electrical Technologies program prepares students for entry-level job opportunities as an electrician. In as few as 7 months of hands-on training at Tulsa Welding School, you could be trained in the skills you need to maintain and service residential, commercial, and industrial electrical equipment.
Students will learn the fundamentals of electricity and solar power, residential and commercial wiring applications, low voltage usage with audio/video and security systems and programming, in-depth applications of motors, lighting, and the devices that control them (including PLCs) as well as exposure to various types of transformers.

Advanced Industrial Maintenance Technology
Duration: 7 Months
