77% of future students have more than just a 4-year college degree on their minds: they’re also thinking about what they need to do to thrive and succeed for the rest of their lives.1

High school students deserve to know about all the options awaiting them after graduation. A traditional university education might be the right path for some students, but it isn’t the right path for all students.

Students have a lot on their mind when they think about life after high school:

  • Careers with employer demand*
  • Flexibility
  • Opportunities for work/life balance

Tulsa Welding School has been training high school graduates for careers in the skilled trades since 1949. Welders Are Lifelong Students

Welders, HVAC technicians and electricians have just as much to learn as college students in a classroom.

Welding technology is always experiencing innovation. Welding processes require focus, attention to detail and the ability to use welding tools to get the job done.

Welding certifications, like the certifications The American Welding Society offers, put a welder’s skills to the test. Certified welders have proof of their credentials and their welding knowhow. The more you can show off your welding skills, the more job opportunities and earning potential you unlock.

HVAC technicians usually need certifications like the EPA certification to work with refrigerants. Electricians work with technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

To be great at the trades is to be a great student, no matter your age.
