I highly recommend TWS for anyone looking to pursue a career in electrical work

I’m about to complete the electrical program here and what I can say is that the instructors were knowledgeable and supportive, providing hands-on training that prepared me well for the field, especially in professor Sullivans class. The curriculum was comprehensive, covering everything from basic principles to advanced techniques. The facilities were top-notch, with modern equipment and ample resources for learning. I appreciated the smaller class sizes, which allowed for personalized attention and mentorship. Overall, I highly recommend TWS for anyone looking to pursue a career in electrical work. It’s a fantastic place to gain the skills and knowledge needed for success in the industry

You put the work in and it will in fact pay off

Had 2 nephews that graduated from here, both are working in the field. I recommend pipefitting too because one of them is making six figures now. Do your actual research on the school, they have 90% job placement and rank as one of the top Welding schools in the US. You put the work in and it will in fact pay off

    I absolutely love it

Currently a student at TWS in my 4th month. I absolutely love it and can say this for certain. The ones posting badly about this school are the ones that ended up leaving because of pure laziness/not showing up. I cannot wait to graduate in the near future! Thanks for the great work and Awesome experience!

    Shipfitting, where the heart is.

I absolutely loved my time at TWS. I got to get dirty and learned a new trade, Heck I even made a working guitar with my own two hands! Mike, Tom, and Jimmy were some outstanding instructors, I came into TWS not even knowing what a torch was, and came out with a self made WORKING guitar!

However, my thirst has not been quenched, I’ve completed the Shipfitting program and I’m coming back for more, Professional Welding, you’re next!

    Great experience

The program was fast pace and needed much effort put forward, though there was so much work time as opposed to class time that I got to work with my hands, since I really do enjoy working with my hands. It’s taught me so much and I can’t wait to use it for a job.

    Hard Work And Dedication!

Hi My name is Clayton Hardesty. I’m a graduate of Tulsa Welding School. I graduated in March of 2011 at the Tulsa Oklahoma Campus. As soon as I graduated, I was able to come right in to the Pipefitters Union Local 562 St. Louis Mo. I’ve been working in coal burning power plants and nuclear power plants making hot welds on big steam Pipes. I’ve also been on a few chiller and boiler change out jobs and I’ve gotten to travel a bunch since I started with them! This year will be my last year of a five year apprenticeship that I’ve been serving with them. I have to say that I love what I do for a living. If it wasn’t for TWS and the instructors that I learned from while I was there i would have never passed the weld tests to get into the Union and on to jobs where I have to pass a gate tests to be able to weld on the construction jobs that I go on. While I was at TWS, I was in the afternoon class. I would come in extra early each day and stay late so that I would get a grasp on what I was learning at the time. There where some days that were harder than others for me with the welding and there were some days that it just came natural. Those long hard days that I spent in the booth paid off in the end I’m very happy where I’m at today. TWS taught me that Hard work and dedication does pay off! I still have a long ways to go and I’m still learning everyday. I had a instructor tell me at TWS that the day you quit learning is the day that you quit doing anything and I have to say that stands to be true. Thank you for all that you have taught me TWS and thank you to all the instructor that taught me along the way!!!

Tulsa welding school graduate and successful welder

I attended tulsa welding school from November 2012 – June 2013, I graduated with very good grades and even better knowledge. I started welding from the very bottom, knew know one in the industry and had no
Idea how to weld. I learned very quick that learning to weld was all about the time and effort you
Put into it. I graduated towards the top of my class and left with a great understanding of the trade. After school I decided todo fabrication instead of pipe welding, I fabbed portable bars and tables for about a year then decided to do pipe welding. I got on as a welder with a company that does turnaround services in refineries and power plants. On the road we can make anywhere from $35-$42 and hour. With that money Iv been able to pay off bills and I am buying a 2015 Chevy within the next week. I think the best tool tulsa welding school had was their instructors, they answered all my questions and directed me in the direction of the company I am currently working for.

Good Program If Your Willing To Work Hard

I started school in July of 2016. I new nothing about welding but worked hard to learn all that I could. I ended up graduating Top of the Class with a 4.0 GPA and 6 top ones because of how hard I worked. You can learn if you apply yourself to everything everyday. The instructors are Excellent and know what they’re doing! The office people on the other hand are worthless. They did nothing to find me work after graduation. Even after I repeatedly went in and asked. If they fired the entire student services staff who are supposedly there to help you land a job, they could lower your tuition greatly. I did end up landing a job pipelining, but only by me being persistent and calling around. Don’t expect any help from the school for jobs. If you want something, you gatta do it yourself.

    Expanded my welding horizons!

TWS gave me all the knowledge and experience I needed to compete in the welding market place. I expanded my knowledge of welding x100 and feel confident about employment as a welding specialist. The instructors are brilliant and pushed my talents far beyond what I thought possible. The staff was professional and eager to help with tuition, financial aid and job placement.

    My tech school experience

I was able to go from knowing nothing about welding to picking it up by the first three phases due to the well experienced instructors and hands on approach. The constant shop time and available instructors to answer questions was a big help. I had a job there in Tulsa welding for twice the pay I was gettin at McDonald’s before phase 8 even came around. If they can make a welder out of a city boy like me then they have it going on over there.

    Excellent Program

I had some doubts when I first arrived at Tulsa Welding School. I had zero experience in any type of industrial work but that did not matter. I soon realized that it was okay that I had no experience and we were there to learn. The instructors were very helpful showing multiple demos and really getting to the root of a problem and explaining how to correct it. I know I have a lot more to learn to become the welder I want to be; but I will be forever grateful to Tulsa Welding School, the instructors, and my classmates who laid the foundation for an excellent career!

    Great program

I enjoyed the TWS Professional Welder Program as it was fast, informative, and well structured.
The instructors were (for the most part) very friendly and extremely informative. They all had significant experience in the field and had real life examples on how to handle different scenarios. The instructors were all willing to give you demonstration after demonstration on different welds, and would watch you weld and tell you exactly what needs improvement. I recommend TWS to anybody with lots, little, or no welding background. If you are willing to put in the time and effort, don’t settle for a ‘C’ or ‘D’, and have a drive to become successful, you will not be disappointed.
